I was born in Manchester and have lived and worked here all my life. Both my parents and elder brother work in the arts, so I have been blessed with a creative upbringing. I particularly enjoy working with photo manipulation techniques, in print and textiles.
I have very much enjoyed being able to experiment in a range of media, styles and techniques on my current Art and Design BTEC course. I am eager to expand my knowledge of all art practises, to have the independence to be creative and express my individual interpretations and creative processes.
I have chosen this course as I am interested in continuing to experiment and develop my skills in a wide range of disciplines and media. I enjoy working in a range of different ways, exploring each material’s characteristics and exploiting them in individual ways. I want to be able to fully express and communicate my ideas, and feel this course will allow me to achieve my potential, by not restricting the outcomes I create.
